So for the this tourney, is it anything goes 5 on 5, or are you banning the usual? I mean I can understand banning the double sentry or floating sentry, but what about caltrop jumping and triple conc grenade jumps?

Well double sentrys are broken, I mean its one Engy who has two turrents on top of each other. So one engy drops two turrets. Its just not cool.

Rules of Competition

1 Map Chosen by Concensus (2fort default)
2 Rounds per Map
15 Minute Rounds
Total points after 2 rounds are added and that is deciding score

5 Man Team Max
Steam "mounted" TFC

I imagine any discussion of these rules should now follow.

Steam mounted TFC = 1.6. NOT 1.5. The changes are miniscule, but the networking requires steam to work, which is never a fun thing.

Also no mention of banned tactics, thats a deadly thing...

Its kinda important to know these things. 1.6 did do some changes that severly affect my gameplay styles. Off hand I thought they were miniscule, but looking back, they can be devestating in certain contexts. And with single map gameplay, this is going to be fun. Where are my fellow Avanti fans?

Psst, 2fort...Though Im a huge fan of the traditional CTF maps, but push maps are coming up more and more on the play list. Cornfield and Avanti are the highlights, screw Dustbowl (unless its 32 player). Though I have about a gig of maps rared right now, Im hoping to get them organized by lan time, but several other things are taking me away, ie WW2mod for 40k, CarWars, and ofcourse the ever present modeling addictions...damn crack.

And you still need to email me your beta card game. Ive got some time to give it a once/twice over.
